Mistakes In Videos That Annoy Everyone

Do you ever feel that you're watching a video and want to turn it off? There are many reasons: it can be uninteresting content that you came across by accident or it's a very interesting video, but shot and edited so clumsily.

We've made a list of mistakes, and you, as video editors, shouldn't make them in your work. They may seem obvious, but they're still quite often ignored or overlooked.

DEFECTIVE PICTURE
Whatever material you're working with, don't leave details without attention. If a video is shaking, then use stabilization. No one likes to watch a video with it. Also, don't forget to remove unnecessary objects. For example, fingers in the frame annoy everyone.

POOR SOUND DESIGN
So, you've worked with a video and you're ready to conquer the video platforms. But did you take enough time to sound and musical accompaniment? Be sure to equalize the level of voice and music, remove wind sounds and other noises. And, most importantly, put music on the splices correctly, namely under the beats or under the text.

PLENTY OF EFFECTS, TRANSITIONS AND SPLICES
The key to a good video is the absence of standard outdated transitions. They can ruin even the most interesting footages because they look cheap and not serious. Also, it's worth abstaining from using all sorts of bright effects applied at random. Don't forget to follow one style, of course, if you don't create an arthouse movie.

LACK OF DYNAMICS
No one will be interested in watching a static video series. Even if you have an idea to shoot and edit a video where you collect puzzles, then don't be lazy to change camera angles and use additional footages if it's necessary.

UNREADABLE TITLES
Text that merges with the background is very difficult to read. Therefore, choose the font, its color, place and effects wisely.
