What Is Stop Motion?

Stop Motion is an animated film making technique where objects are moved in a certain sequence and photographed at each stage. Then this series of pictures is glued together, and an audio track is put to it.

This technique was invented more than 100 years ago for puppet animation, but even now it has begun to actively appear in music clips, advertising videos and animation.

It takes much less time to create a Stop Motion. You only need to correctly place and move objects. It seems that the video was made hastily, but, in fact, simple and slightly "torn" videos look stylish. And it has a much smaller budget.

Even you can make your Stop Motion without any problems, the main thing is to follow this checklist:

1. First of all, think about an idea and a concept
2. Write a screenplay
3. Make a storyboard
4. Calculate the number of frames
5. Pick music
6. Take photos following your screenplay
7. Edit and export

Do you ever feel that you're watching a video and want to turn it off? There are many reasons: it can be uninteresting content that you came across by accident or it's a very interesting video, but shot and edited so clumsily.

When you are planning a video, one of the first thing you should do is a storyboard. This is a mandatory step that depicts the script but in a slightly different way: breaking the video into key scenes in the form of a series of illustrations or sketches.

Bitness of the image, also known as bit depth, is a term in the computer graphics sphere, which refers to the number of bits used per one pixel. There is a direct relationship between depth and the number of colors image can store: higher the depth, more colors can be stored.
